NAGAAA was founded in 1977 and the first elected Commissioner was Warren Shepell, from Toronto, Ontario, Canada, and currently has 46 member leagues in the United States and Canada.The current Commissioner is John Deffee.

Downtown Soccer Toronto (DST) is Torontos first official LGBTQA+ recreational soccer league. We aim to provide an athletic and socially safe atmosphere for everyone to enjoy playing soccer. We play Sundays at Withrow Park, a block south of the Danforth between Logan and Carlaw.
